Chicken Flap — Privacy Policy

Effective 26 October 2026 · Applies to the Android app “Chicken Flap” (package com.chickenflap.game)

Short version: Chicken Flap has no accounts and no analytics of its own. Your scores stay on your device. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, and AdMob uses a limited set of device data to serve and measure those ads — detailed below. Optional Google Play Games sign-in uses your player profile and ID for leaderboards and achievements only.

Information we collect

Nothing. There is no sign-in, no profile, and no server operated by the developer. We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location, and we never receive the data described under “Advertising” or “Google Play Games” — it goes to Google, not to us.

Information stored on your device

The app saves a small amount of data locally so it works the way you expect:

Your best scores and local leaderboard entries
Unlocked skins, coins, and in-game progress
Sound and display preferences
Your ad consent choice
Google Play Games sign-in state (cached token) — only if you choose to sign in

This data is stored in the app’s private storage. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Chicken Flap displays banner and full-screen ads supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its partners may process:

Your device’s advertising ID (a resettable identifier you can change or delete in Android settings)
IP address, which may be used to approximate your general location (city-level)
Device and app information (model, operating system version, app version, language)
Ad interactions — which ad was shown, whether it was clicked or closed, and how often ads are shown

This data is used to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and detect invalid traffic and fraud. It is not used by the developer to identify you, and the developer does not receive it in a form that identifies you.

Google’s handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.

Google Play Games Services (optional sign-in)

If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, the app requests access to:

Your Play Games player profile — player name and avatar, shown on leaderboards.
Your Play Games player ID — used internally to submit your scores and unlock achievements.

This data is sent directly to Google Play Games Services. The developer never receives your profile data in an identifiable form. You can revoke the app’s access at any time in your Google Account → Third-party apps with account access.

Your consent choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before serving personalised ads, using Google’s certified consent form. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time: open the app’s main menu and tap PRIVACY. If you decline personalised ads, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised.

Purchases

Chicken Flap has no in-app purchases. Coins and skins are earned by playing and never cost real money.

Children’s privacy

Chicken Flap is a general-audience arcade game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will act on it.

Data retention

The developer retains no data, so there is nothing to delete on our side. Data held by Google for advertising and Play Games is retained according to Google’s own retention policies. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored game data.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change.
